Overview

The University of St. Thomas School of Law invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor faculty position in the Clinical Education department, beginning in Fall 2018. The committee will consider applications from applicants in all areas of clinical education, but we have particular interest in the areas of transactional clinics, medical-legal partnerships, elder law, intellectual property, entrepreneurship, STEM start-ups, criminal defense or prosecution, veterans, and family law.

This is a 9-month faculty position. Availability for summer clinic coverage on a rotating basis (with additional summer stipend available) is required. Other faculty responsibilities include student advising, professional engagement through research, presentation and publication, and committee service.

Qualifications
A J.D. degree is required. Professional license eligibility in Minnesota is required. Three years practice and/or teaching experience post-JD preferred. Ability to articulate a scholarly agenda is required. Ability to build relationships across difference and model cultural agility is required.
