The Chair of Constitutional and Administrative Law, Public International Law, European and International Economic Law at the University of Passau invites applications for the position of

Graduate Research Assistant

starting 15 February 2017.

This is a part-time position, amounting to 0.5 or 0.6 full time equivalent (FTE)
based on a limited-term contract valid until 30 September 2018, or a full-time position based on a limited-term contract valid until 15 February 2018.

Your responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the research project, "Genome editing in plant biotechnology – a science-based legal analysis of regulatory problems", funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF)

Personal requirements

  • First or Second State Examination in law with above-average results or a comparable degree in law (e.g. LL.M.) with equivalent results
  • A good command of English
  • An interest in conducting interdisciplinary research in co-operation with natural scientists
