Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law is a distinguished institution with a rich heritage. Founded in 1928, Jones School of Law made legal education available in Alabama’s capital city to generations of otherwise excluded students. Alumni are now distinguished jurists, legislators, district attorneys, public servants, advocates, counselors, and business leaders.

In 1983, Faulkner University became home to Jones School of Law. Faulkner announced a bold vision for the law school’s future. With generous support from law school alumni and friends, Faulkner built a permanent home for the law school on its Montgomery campus. In 2006, Faulkner obtained provisional accreditation from the ABA with full accreditation following in 2009.

With ABA accreditation, Jones Law School was introduced to a national market as Faulkner Law. Faulkner Law’s advocacy programs, legal clinics, faculty, and student organizations are now nationally recognized and award winning. Faulkner Law is known for its commitment to allowing each student to learn law and seek justice.
