The School of Law expects to have an opening for a Tenure-track Position available, beginning in the 2010 - '11 Academic Year. Duties include teaching courses as needed by the Law School; engaging in productive research, scholarship and publication; and, engaging in professional service to the Law School, the profession, the University, and the community.
A J.D. or equivalent degree (e.g., Ph.D. -- Legal Historian or Foreign Law Degree) required. We also require knowledge of relevant subject areas, the ability to teach, communicate effectively and challenge students to learn; commitment to and the ability to add diversity to the School of Law; and, commitment to and the ability to engage in significant scholarly research and publication (previous scholarly publication preferred). Commitment to professional service, involvement in relevant professional or service organizations, is also preferred.
