Penn Law will award two Sharswood Fellowships in 2010, for two years of research, writing and teaching, for scholars committed to entering a career in legal academia.
Successful applicants will hold academic standing comparable to that of Visiting Assistant Professor during their two years in residence at Penn Law.
Each applicant must have earned a Law degree or a Ph.D. or equivalent in a related field and should not yet have held a full-time tenure-track legal academic appointment.
The Sharswood Fellowships provide excellent opportunities for either doctoral research for candidates who have completed a J.D. or for postdoctoral research.
Our current Sharswood Fellows are specialists in Law, History, Philosophy and Psychology.
Applicants from all disciplines are welcomed.
