Last month, the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law hosted its annual NALSA Symposium to examine changes in Indian law.
With her graduation quickly approaching, third-year law student Jennie Fuerst looks forward to helping as many people as she can through a career in law.
Three University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law students – Madison Gosch, Bryce Drapeaux and Shanell Nieuwendor – were selected to attend the fourth annual Judicial Clerkship Opinion Writing Conference. This opportunity allowed the third-year law students to benefit from the conference’s unique access to sitting judges, providing insight into the process of crafting judicial decisions.
Second-year law student Justin Larson returned to his hometown – Watertown, South Dakota – to pursue a summer and fall externship and further his legal education outside the classroom.
