Permanent Part-time Post (0.2 FTE)
UCC wishes to appoint a part-time Professor (0.2FTE) with an established international profile of scholarly achievement and global impact in Children’s Rights including Child Participation, with immediate commencement. Reporting to the Dean of the School of Law, the post-holder must demonstrate research leadership at an international level, have an outstanding record of research output in the area of Children’s Rights and Child Participation and have an excellent track record in grant capture. The Professor will build on UCC’s strengths in this area including through engagement with the School of Law’s Centre for Children’s Rights and Family Law, ISS21 and other cross-disciplinary clusters as appropriate in order to strengthen the University’s capacity and profile in this area.

Appointment may be made on the Professor Salary Scale: pro-rata
€120,274 - €154,507 (Scale B)/ €114,392 - €146,781 (Scale A)
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
