Mitchell Hamline School of Law is seeking candidates for two visiting faculty positions beginning in August 2019. These are one-year full-time positions, with the potential for an additional year’s reappointment.
Our principal curricular needs include contract law, evidence, criminal law, and torts, but we are open to considering outstanding candidates with other areas of expertise. We are especially interested in candidates with demonstrated experience and/or interest in teaching a blended (on-campus and online) learning program, and who would be interested in teaching in one of our own blended learning programs. For more information about these programs, please visit www.mitchellhamline.edu and read more about our Hybrid J.D., Executive J.D., and Weekend programs.
Candidates are required to have a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school or foreign equivalent degree. Rank and compensation subject to individual qualifications and experience. Distinguished academic and/or professional background expected. We particularly encourage candidates of color, women, people of any sexual orientation, veterans, and persons with disabilities to apply.
The Faculty Appointments Committee requests that interested candidates submit a letter of application and a current résumé. While the Committee will continue to consider applications until the positions are filled, candidates should submit their application materials prior to November 16, 2018 for full committee consideration.
