The Universidad Torcuato Di Tella invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor position in its School of Law.
The starting date is March 1, 2021 (or such other date as is negotiated with the successful candidate.)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must have:
1. Published or unpublished works revealing great potential for and commitment to original research in the field of law (for candidates for an assistant professor position, typically, a doctoral dissertation from a prestigious university).
2. Great potential for teaching excellence in our undergraduate and graduate programs.
3. Ability to teach in Spanish.

Applications with a solid methodological background and specialization in topics relevant to contemporary legal issues will be particularly welcomed.
Candidates close to obtaining the doctorate degree will also be welcomed – the candidate must graduate before the eventual start of the contractual agreement.
The selected candidate is expected to actively participate in the events and institutional development of the Law School and the University.

1. Cover letter identifying areas of interest in research and teaching, as well as a research and teaching plan.
2. A detailed curriculum vita.
3. Three letters of recommendation.
4. Up to two published or unpublished academic papers, or chapters from the applicant´s doctoral dissertation.
5. Where available, teaching evaluations and taught courses syllabi.
