    Position Overview

    The University of Kansas School of Law invites applications for a regular, full-time, tenure-track, associate professor position to begin in the fall of 2020. We are seeking junior lateral tenure-track and entry-level candidates with a demonstrated potential for high scholarly achievement and teaching excellence. We are interested in candidates specializing in any field of law, but we are particularly interested in the fields of business, corporate, finance, transactional, and securities law, including both traditional and alternative approaches to these disciplines.

    Job Description

    40% - Classroom teaching and counseling students.
    40% - Conducting and publishing research.
    20% - Providing service to the law school, university, and the legal profession.

    Required Qualifications

    1. J.D. degree from an ABA accredited U.S. law school.
    2. Evidence of potential for engaging in high quality research and teaching.
