Professor of Law
Penn State's Dickinson Law invites applications from entry-level and lateral candidates for tenure-track and tenured faculty positions expected to begin July 1, 2020. We welcome candidates with outstanding academic credentials across all areas of law, although subject matter areas of particular interest are constitutional law, criminal law and procedure, and critical legal studies. Practice experience, judicial clerkships, and interest in interdisciplinary scholarship (signified by undertaking a Ph.D. or other graduate study) are plus factors. We especially welcome applications from candidates who will add to the diversity of our educational community. Founded in 1834, Dickinson Law is one of the oldest law schools in the country and the oldest in Pennsylvania. It is one of Penn State's two fully accredited law schools. Our faculty and students benefit from the reputation, network, and opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration that come with being a part of one of the world's preeminent research universities.
