Expertise: The intersection between the fields of criminal law and international law. My initial specialisation was in International Humanitarian Law and international drug control law. I have recently developed research interests in the International Military Tribunal for the Far East, international tobacco control and the area of transnational crime generally. I amparticularly interested in developing the notion of transnational criminal law, as that part of international criminal law in a general sense which is concerned with the suppression of transantional crime by states.
