My research interests encompass commercial dispute resolution, international sales law, international arbitration, comparative contract law, linguistic issues in law, and sociological analysis of law. Generally, my writing explores what happens when private actors from different backgrounds—legal, cultural, and linguistic—meet in the international legal arena. My first book, The Culture of International Arbitration and the Evolution of Contract Law, will be published by Oxford University Press in 2013.
